Allinta CMS is easy to use software that keeps your website up to date.

A CMS based website is usually dynamic, with the content stored in a database. As people request pages on your site, the CMS queries the database and produces the page.

In Allinta CMS, there are content pages, templates (that control how a page looks) and menu code (that determines how the menus look on a site for a given menu level), all three of which are stored in the database.

Content pages
By using a web browser you can add and edit pages of content.  There is a WYSIWYG editor (What you see is what you get - see picture) that allows you to edit your content as it will appear on your website just like using Microsoft Word or another word processor.   The editor will even pick up custom style sheets (CSS) information to easily apply content styles and keep the website looking clear, consistent and well designed.

Templates
Templates can be added that control how each content page looks.  Add as many templates as you wish and use them for different sections of the site.

Menu code
Menu code controls how each level of menu is displayed to a web browser.

Edit and publish
Because the site is database driven, many different versions of content can be stored.  Once you are happy with a content, you can make it visible on the site by publishing that page.  And if you need to, you can restore any previous version of the content from any point in time.
